My middle son Riley and my baby Blake are 2 years and 5 days apart so a double birthday celebration sounds like the perfect solution- but whoooo… what a day!! 🙃
Thank you to all of the year 2 and kindy families and all of the siblings that joined us today for a fun afternoon riding in the sun!
Yesterday we literally had huge rainfall snd flooding and we almost cancelled the party… but the rain stopped, we embraced the puddles and everyone had a wonderful afternoon!!
TBH - I was never going to cancel the party, I was pushing on rain, hail, or shine!!
Sometimes we get so in our heads about making things ‘perfect’ that we lose the essence of how fun it is being a kid… being messy, jumping in puddles, rolling in the grass!

It’s been a massive few weeks that have definitely not gone my way.
I can be stuck in ‘why me, this sucks’ or I can shake it off and know that life is happening for me not to me.
I choose to focus on positive outcomes, opportunities ahead and concentrating on the things that make me happy.
